The 27th GRB
Hello! We had another great GRB last Saturday .
We gathered at the keo blacksmith and organized ourselves. Apparently a lot of guildies were busy because the turnout was a little down, but we still fielded both Red and Blue Teams. For Red Team I brought my def, Bran and Marce brought their battle priests, Jas and Fi were wis priests, and Tamao was mage. Blue Team had Stand's UM priest, Candy as def (great to have Candy at GRB with us), and Satan as mage.
Thanks to everyone happily showing up early , we entered the Guild Management House about five minutes 'til GRB starting time and joined the crowd at the GRB portal and waited. Once we were in we entered the lvl 30 section and headed straight for the lvl 30 boss, Kalion.
We all had doubts that we had enough firepower to take the boss and I was also worried that we might not have quite enough healing power. Well, it turned out we had plenty of healing power, but firepower was a problem. Tamao and Satan cast fire ring after fire ring under Kalion's feet while hitting him with the mage damage overtime spell at frequent intervals. I hit him with the def damage overtime spell and tried to keep him debuffed as I swung my wep at him. Marce had trouble logging into Shaiya and was late, so he wasn't with us when we took boss, but Bran used all his bp's power on the boss, too. For about ten to fifteen minutes we beat on Kalion and, finally, we killed him. "Whew!" we all said and thought.
With the boss down, I left my team to carefully kill a few mobs while I escorted Blue Team to the lvl 15 section because Candy, this being her first (or nearly first anyway) GRB, did not know the way. Since the boss's can be tricky to hold, I went ahead and held Sirvana while Satan killed her. With only one mage and a def beating up on her, Sirvana took a little longer than usual to go down, too, but she is MUCH easier than Kalion .
Once boss was down, I left Blue Team and ran back to Red Team as fast as I could. There I found that Bran had somehow gotten seperated and was standing alone on top of a rock. So, I picked him up and, with a little chatting, we soon found our way to the rest of the team. Then we started killing mobs.
GRB went really well, as far as I know, no one died in Red or Blue Teams, which makes this the first GRB we've had no casualties in . There were of course still the tricky respawns and every now and then one of those mobs that seems to be missed by taunt and leaves the def lol, but everyone did VERY well and we had a fun, great GRB.
A very big thanks to all who showed up and made this GRB possible, without Candy showing up to tank for Blue Team, I'm sure I don't know what we would have done. Without the priests we would have died, and without the firepower of bp and mages we wouldn't have killed any mobs . Thank you all!
We raised 9600 points . Which gives us a grand total of 170,225 and the 32nd rank! We have a ways to go to catch the next couple of guilds, but we're doing good and I know we can do it . After the 200 from GRB bosses and all the Etin guildies have faithfully picked up from the repeatable quests, we now have 3,034 Etin .
Hope to see you all this Saturday along with all our absentees!

Re: The 27th GRB
Yahoooooo! Had a blast at this GRB playing the priest position for blue team with my UM priest. I have put 50 rec on my priest which results in enought defense that the mobs in blue section would have to really gang up on me to take me down . That defense worked out great since I was THE priest for blue team. Candy's def was awesome as was Satan's Mage. We had the trio that could tank as hard as they could and only tax the mage's MP. I could say more about blue team's adventures but you would get bored haha because for once there was only one slight respawn problem that we worked out really quickly with out anyone seriously getting hurt . But the 3 of us in blue team had a real blast killing all those mobs .

Re: The 27th GRB
Well I can't believe it - we're ranked 32 now and have such a short way to go to be among the top 30 guilds, but then again I must check on the points separating us from our nearest rivals, but I always do that after maint.
Yes, Saturday was great fun. You are right Zaha, 0 casualties. Not bad considering the time it took us to take down Kalion - I even threw a couple of spells between bouts of healing, to try and hurry the process up.
One thing tho', if Kalion is THAT hard, what on earth is Old Willow like?
I want to say "Gratz" to all involved on a job well done last week. I hope to see everyone next week at GRB. Come on guys, and join in, cos we are getting really close to the top, and it would be a shame to lose that advantage now.

Got that right, Fi. Old Willow must be a real bear , but, by the time we can try him, I'm thinking we'll have a lot more lvl 55-60s than we had lvl 30s taking down Kalion, so, maybe he won't be too bad haha .

Once again another great GRB! and now we're ranked 32! if we keep this up I feel certain that we'll get into the top 30. Thanks to everyone who could show up it wouldn't have been as fun without you all, and for those that couldn't come this time you were all sorely missed. Thanks for another great report of another great GRB Zaha .
