What Makes a Guild

A Guild is made up of people and is designed for the enjoyment and benefit of the members of the guild. You have a Leader who has the authority to carry out the business aspects of the guild so to speak. Like, buying the Guild House, making sure trouble makers are kept in check and/or removed. The officers under the leader are there to help the Leader carry out his duties and therefore has enough authority to do so. Non of the officers or the leader has that authority to run the guild their way or to dictate!

But the most important part of a guild, the part that makes the guild work and function, is it's members. It is the members job to do his/her part in keeping peace, and fellowship in the guild thus giving the guild reason and ability to exist.


To keep peace: Treat others with respect and honesty that they as a human being deserves. Don't ridicule or try to tear another member down. If another member is destroying the peace do what you can to resolve it by standing up for what is right and make sure the issue is reported to the officers and leader of the guild.

To keep fellowship: Be friendly and helpful. Again treat others with respect that they deserve as a human being. Simple rule of thumb is to remember the "golden rule" …. "do undo others as you would have done undo you".


And above all Remember! The guild exist for all members to have fun Playing the game and for them to fellowship with each other. It is not a place to have things your way or to have your agenda carried out. The leaders and officers Cannot!Run the guild themselves, they have to have your help. If you have any suggestion about how to make the guild a better place for the other members to enjoy, have more fun and fellowship. Make sure they hear it, they are always willing to hear new suggestions on how to make the guild better.
